It's that time of the year again, where we all get to remember those we have loved and lost to the battle of breast cancer. There are also our amazing survivors that need to be revered in all their glory!

No one knows the bravery required to overcome breast cancer, to have to sacrifice our breast in order to stay alive and give up that which is deemed to represent "womanhood"... that is unless you yourself are a survivor!

Avon has a yearly walk in support of raising funds to fight breast cancer and to raise breast cancer awareness. Have you signed up for this years AVON ITHEMBA WALKATHON?

It's on the 22nd of October ... sign up and get more info over here READ MORE

#WalkForAPurpose with AVON

Avon has recently launched their own unique foot tool (take that Dr. Scholl), it contains micro-crystal technology for instantly smooth and baby soft feet all summer long.
I know when I saw the launch of the aforementioned competitor's tool I was intrigued and maybe a little green for those who got to test drive the latest foot tool. You can only imagine the squeal which left my lips when I discovered this beauty by Avon in a recent press drop. Cue angels and trumpeting!!

Avon's Electric Rolling Pedi Tool

This tool comes with two interchangeable heads which offer both a coarse applicator (for stubborn skin) and a finer option for those delicate areas. With pink rollers covered in clear micro-crystals, it is rather rudimentary but revolutionary at the same time. The tool helps to slough off dry and dead skin, leaving your feet smooth and ready to apply some of the divine Avon Footworks products. Great news it is battery powered and therefore super convenient for travel too.

What did I think?

I am in love people, this tool is amazing, especially for me who struggles with hard dry skin thanks to a) being overweight and b) my blood pressure medication. I would highly recommend this to anyone as part of their homecare regime especially if you struggle to reach your feet.
