It's the Winelands Chocolate Festival this coming weekend in Cape Town. Yes, this is the show that fantasies are made of ... chocolate ... wine and plenty of it!

The second Winelands Chocolate Festival takes place at Blaauwklippen Wine Estate in Stellenbosch on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st of August 2016. This year the festival offers a bigger and better line-up  for the whole family. Don't stress if chocolate in not your thang!

There will also be an endless selection of the finest wines and gourmet treats, so do drag your significant other to come along!

Chocolate fantasies come alive

As is the words chocolate on tap weren't enough to convince you, there will be the most amazing chocolate displays and demonstrations happening all weekend.
Including some of the chocolate industry’s leading culinary artists, who will teach and entertain guests with different food preparation techniques ... here just see for yourself!
Demos cost an additional R50 per adult and can be purchased fromWebtickets.

A truffle affair?
Dimo Simatos, one of the finest pastry chefs in South Africa and the head chocolatier at Lindt SA, will be doing live demos at the festival. Award winning editor of Eat Out magazine and food editor for Woolworths Taste magazine, Abigail Donnelly will be doing a lunchtime ‘chef’s table’ demo at the festival. Having given up her full time job to become a food artist, Abigail will be sharing ideas on how to blend various flavours with chocolate, and how to use it in savoury dishes.
