If you didn't know by now that hugging a cat and petting a dog is considered to be extremely therapeutic with many studies actually using our furry friends to aid in speeding up recovery in patients , I would be forced to ask you 'What rock have you been hiding under?'
The problem is that there are many people out there who can't actually keep a pet at home and there are very many furry friends out there that just need a love and hug.

Need saving from the humdrum daily grind?
TEARS Animal Rescue & Hill’s #savedbythedogs invites you to take a breather to spend a little time with TEARS’ four-legged superheroes in The Company’s Garden, central Cape Town on Wednesday 15 April, 11am to 2pm (and monthly thereafter).
Come walk a dog, play with a puppy and have some fun – the healing powers of a wet nose and wagging tail are legendary.

The next #savedbythedogs mission is on the 13th May, 17th June, 15th July, 12th August, 16th September, 14th October, 11th November, 9th December.

You’ll get a warm doggy welcome and a 'slurp or two' I'm sure.
