It's no secret that I love RAIN Africa's products , I often gush about all the unique qualities of this brand in concept , empowerment of the local community , fair trade practices and green friendly practices.

Today I want share a fabulous new range recently launched by RAIN and a review of  the WHITE PEAR Tree Mists.

First here is a little about the concept of this uniques products and the variety/ options available ....

'Growing upon an ancient sand dune with neither a river nor spring to sustain it, the Platbos forest survives the hot, dry summer months by drawing moisture from only the morning mists that bathe its thirsty canopy. This coastline evoked the desert wastes of the Sahara in the minds of the early explorers. For botanists the presence of Platbos Forest in this landscape, where only the drought-resistant and fire-tolerant fynbos of the Cape Floral Kingdom flourishes, remains unfathomable.

To enter the forest is to enter a world of enchantment. Draped in wispy old man’s beard, the wizened baobab-like trees of Platbos grow in a most unusual way. Here the divergent trees grow together, not apart, harmoniously sharing the same space, the trees of the forest intertwine and embrace each other.

Melissa Krige is a tree whisperer and passionate custodian of this precious piece of forest. It is her life calling to protect, nurture and extend it. She is the creator of these truly unique African Tree Mists.'

Here's what I thought .....

Fragrance -
Fragrance is a warm herbal/spicy aroma hailing from traditional and indigenous aromatherapy essential oils. I enjoy the fragrance and am very familiar with most of the essential oils , however please be warned that this will not be a 'perfume type' smell if that is what you are looking for.

This is a small spritz which is water based with aroma oils suspended in and emulsified . This product can be used on face, body and hair or even to freshen up stale air in a room.

Packaging -
I must be honest and say the little bottles were smaller than I anticipated , however they are perfect for in your hand bag or even your evening clutch purse. The packaging is a plastic spritz , easy to use with clean smile lines for labeling.

I have been struggling with headaches and have found the WHITE PEAR to be so great to spritz my face whilst sitting in front f the fan. It cleared my head and definitely eased the headaches ...I love it! I would love to try a few more.

So there you have it folks.
