I first met Megan when we were both roaming through Twitter, I soon came to realize that Megs is a competition junkie and 'blogger in denial' *giggles in hand*. Always expressing herself well and sharing great stories ...but not a blogger?

One day out of nowhere popped up a tweet declaring that Megan is now guest blogging on another site which I also happen to follow. I was, and am over the moon that this lovely lady now has a little place in cyber space to share her thoughts.

Here is a little more about Megs and her Question & Answer interview ...enjoy!

'I live in East London, Eastern Cape with my gorgeous daughter Zoe & immensely crazy family, as well as our troop rowdy Dachshunds.

During the day, I work as a P.A/Security for Specialist Doctors. By night, I dream of pink cupcakes (gluten & fat free please), glitter, confetti & most of all, shopping.
I adore Pilates. I am more informed as to what is happening in celebrities’ life than in our country’s administration. I thoroughly enjoy DIY projects and crafting in general. In my next life, I hope to be a party planner. Retail therapy is what gets me through the rough patches. I love fashion & playing with textures & colours. The arts fascinate me. I watch a little too much TV, but my DVD player doesn’t seem to mind'
Q & A Interview ...

How would you describe yourself as a newbie blogger ?
They say your first time is always the best. I consider myself honest, organized, faithful, thoughtful and creative.  in the last few weeks  It’s super cool to see  fellow bloggers enjoying my content and supporting me and my weekly blog post on Glamorous Glitters Blog. I love the encouragement. It’s such an honor-THANK YOU!
If you could spend 1 day as a Beauty Editor, which magazine would you choose and why?
Definitely Fairlady Magazine because they focus on beauty trends that help me keep up with what is going on in the cosmetics and beauty world. This magazines often feature’s reviews of new products from editors and writers. Usually, this magazine will publish upcoming trends, such as spring trends in the Winter, so that we as the reader have time to plan.
Who do you see as your icon and why?
Audrey Hepburn because she was and is still beautiful, she had class and style and she was elegant to an extreme. There will never be another one like her.  Aside from her being a celebrity she became an ambassador for UNICEF and traveled throughout Africa and impoverished countries aiding in humanitarian issues such as starvation, drought, etc. She was amazing. She did so much to give back to the world. Although she will always be remembered as an acting icon her work for UNICEF is awe inspiring.

If you could have a 1 minute dash in any store, which would you choose and why?
It would have to be Typo as it has something for everyone under one roof. It's my one stop craft, party, birthday, gift, "spoil myself", home & office stationery as well as decor store! I've been addicted to Typo since the store opened. The best items for every room of the house and every walk of life. I cannot live without my Typo. Fresh, funky, GREAT QUALITY products for every day of the week. You just gotta love it, I know I do!

What has been a top defining moment for you as a mom on Social Media?
If you want to be taken seriously in the professional world, then know the heck out of your industry. Know what trends are happening, what is working well, what’s not working and identify where and how you fit in. Identify what skills and qualities you have and how you plan to best utilize them in your industry.  The more you know, the more you will gain passion and excitement about what and where you can contribute.
Twitter, for me is a fabulous way to learn what is happening in an industry and meet others who have the same industry passions. And, thus blogging has given me the gift of sharing my well educated opinions and ideas about certain industries I am interested in.
What advice would you give to other women out there?
Embrace your flaws as much as your features. You are a full package and no one sees just one part. At the end of the day, if you can't love what you consider to be your flaws, then you have to make an effort to change them.
Please share with us a short list of your ‘BEAUTY ESSENTIALS’.
Every woman has a few tried and true items she must have with her at all times. No questions asked. If you were to take a peek into my bag, these are a few things that I consider being my “BEAUTY ESSENTIALS”
1.    Lip balm. I might be addicted.
2.    Lipstick. You never know where the day will take you
3.    Mascara. It's the worst when you need it and don't have it.
4.    Foundation, powder -gives healthy sheer to my skin.
5.    Eye brow pencil -must for me to define my brows.
I know you have a passion for competitions what has been your favourite prize to date?
Life is all about taking chances. That leap of faith into the unknown. It terrifies us all, but where will we ever go in life if we don’t take a chance. That is why I enter competitions, which also promotes the person running the competition as well. My Favourite prize to date has to be by Winning Siyaam Ally’s Birthday Giveaway last month.
