Unusual hair growth patterns often result in excessive facial hair on the face, abdomen and breast areas. This can be a real cause for embarrassment for the women concerned, often resulting in severe distress and anxiety.

What causes this abnormal Hair Growth?
Our bodies usually produce low levels of Androgens or male hormones, however if your body starts producing too much of these it results in excessive hair growth called ‘Hirsutism’ which can be genetic.  For example: as with women originating from the Mediterranean/Europe who are more likely to grow excess hair on lip and chin areas, however if this is not in your family gene’s chances are it’s medical in nature and it is advised you consult your doctor.
